What a fun week with the competition's first double header on two fairly unknown climbs in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Big congrats to Jamie Yang Pong for her first place finish and a 130 point score week which launches her from fourth to first place with three scores now counting!

Congrats to James Nicol for continuing his dominance and taking his 5th win of the competition.

Margaret B, Keisuke Otsuka, and Brock Dickie complete the podium spots this week.

Congrats to team Ebay on this week's win! WEDU Norcal holds on to the top spot in the team competition but are nervously awaiting the first week where Alto Velo or SparkEE's bring their full squad to a climb to mount a challenge, or if Ebay has another stand out week next week at Mix Canyon.

Next week we head to arguably the toughest stretch of road that LKHC ever faces. On paper it is already an insane 4.9 miles at 8.7% but this average number ignores the toughest mile that clocks in over 15% with 20% sections. In previous years we saw everything from broken chains to forced walkers and we are excited to watch the storylines unfold as we take it on again this year! Next week four rides will count, so it will be another pivotal week in the overall.

Jamie Yang Pong for attempting this before sunrise on Saturday and then having the energy to come back and attack Loma Prieta again on Sunday in the daylight to improve her score!
James Nicol for starting Loma Prieta over after a pinch flat on a pothole ruined his first attempt.
Francois-Xavier for working this into a 122 mile ride!
James, Keisuke, Dickie, and Shai for setting the top 4 times of all time in their age group this weekend on Wrights.
Frank Drobot for the top time of all time in his age group on Wrights.
