Forty-nine racers took to Hamilton for the grand finale. Congratulations to Jamie Yang Pong and James Nicol for the top spots and to Robin Betz, Illan Jen-La Plante, Maxime Cauchois, and Keisuke Otsuka for rounding out the podiums.

One storyline we were watching with great anticipation was the battle between Maxime Cauchois and Keisuke Otsuka who entered the week separated by only 5 points. Maxime needed to pull off a victory in order to move into second in the overall and he certainly put in an incredible effort. Maxime delivered a one minute, two second advantage over Keisuke which was enough for the day, but a little short on the overall.

Alto Velo set the record for a team on weekly performance coming in with 400 points; a win on the day, but not enough for the overall.
