The main group started this unusually formatted week-long contest on the day after ULKHC Palomares.
The top and only woman this week was Andrea Tyson, who I suspect was an unwitting participant by virtue of being in the Low-Key Strava Club. Nevertheless, congratulations and good job!
For the men, this hill climb was marked by bonks and cracks, including by top contender Matthew Perry who might otherwise have run away with this. Instead rivals Shai Traister and Dennis M battled it out with Shai winning by one second. Congratulations, Shai! Matthew held onto 3rd place, and more importantly, held onto the lead in the Overall.
Good job by Yassine Kabouzi, too, who climbed Hamilton for the first time ever, and who has only been riding at all for about four months!
On Thanksgiving Day, LKHC veteran Bob Spatta braved the snowy and icy conditions and earned a spot on the roster, though he too didn't know it at the time, while Guilherme Chapiewski braved it a day later.
With unanimous consent, Hamilton 2019 loses it's 9x status, and goes into the Overall.
Thank you all for coming out! And thank you to Andy Crews for keeping the Low Key Hillclimbs going for another season!
